Utility Payment Options1. Sign up for our auto-debit program.
2. Click here to make an online payment. 3. Send a check through the mail. 4. Use online banking. 5. Place a check and stub in the drop box located at the south end of the City Hall parking lot. 6. Call City Hall to make a payment with a credit card or debit card (a fee will be added on to credit or debit card payments). 7. Visit City Hall to make a payment with cash, check, credit card or debit card (a fee will be added on to credit or debit card payments). 8. Pay with cash or check at any Red Bud bank. Note: Please allow extra time for the City to receive these payments. The bank sends the payments through the United States Postal Service in batches so they will not be received the day the payment is made. *If you need assistance paying your utility bill, Western Egyptian LIHEAP may be able to help. Click here or call 618.445.5231 for more information. *Any payment received late is subject to the fees and penalties as outlined in the city ordinances. Utility Reconnect Procedure If you were shut off due to non-payment, follow these instructions to be reconnected. -Before 3PM (Monday-Friday), bill must be paid in full plus a $25.00 reconnect fee. -Between 3PM-4PM (Monday-Friday), bill must be paid in full plus a $100.00 reconnect fee. -Any other time than above, bill must be paid in full plus a $100.00 reconnect fee (proof must be given to on-call utility worker). |
