NOTICE FROM THE GAS DEPARTMENT
Please be on the lookout for the semi-annual gas mailer that should be arriving in your mailboxes soon. It is very important that everyone read the booklet and fill out the survey. The survey results are tallied and sent to the City of Red Bud Utility Department. Please contact the Utility Department at 618-282-3339 if you have any questions.

EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITY
Lifeguards- The City of Red Bud is now accepting applications for Red Bud City Swimming Pool lifeguards. The pool operates during the summer, following the Red Bud CUSD #132 school calendar. The 2025 pool season is scheduled for May 24-August 10 and hours will vary based on scheduling and staffing.
This is ideal seasonal employment for students, teachers and anyone with a flexible schedule. Qualified individuals must be at least fifteen years old and have or be willing to complete all trainings and certifications required for the position. Starting pay will be $17 per hour.
Applications can be picked up at Red Bud City Hall, 200 East Market Street, Red Bud, IL 62278 between the hours of 7:30AM– 4:00PM, Monday – Friday or can be found here. SECRETARY OF STATE MOBILE UNIT 2025:
The Secretary of State Mobile Unit will be set up behind City Hall from 10AM-2PM the following days this year:

Tuesday, August 5, 2025
Wednesday, November 5, 2025
Services include: new and renewal ID cards, driver's license renewals, sticker purchases, and real IDs. As a reminder, you can renew before you receive your renewal by mail. To set up an appointment call 618-282-7284.
