Residents Deerfest / Holiday Happenings November 18 - 20, 2011 Calling all Hunters: $1,000 is being given away! Deerfest is hosting a NEW Team Deer Weigh-In Competition, sponsored by Jim Walker Country Insurance & Financial Services.
Tomorrow night…
Hunters
are invited to the pre-registration event on November 10 from
7:00-10:00 pm at The Office Bar and Grill.
Pre-registration is required to participate in the competition.
$45 per team
Cash prizes will be awarded to the 2nd and 3rd place teams too. Fliers, along with 50/50 tickets, have been mailed to each chamber member.

Lighted Parade Friday, Nov. 18 at 6:30 pm Twenty-six floats are already registered to participate. Call Meghan at 282-5486 to receive a line-up number. Parade route will start at St. John’s Lutheran School, and line up on Bloom Street going North toward the fire house. Remember, 200 continuous lights, no Santa Claus, no horses unless they are pulling a float.
The Waterloo German Band is accepting sponors for their float. Two $100 sponsorships or one $200 sponsorship available. You can hang your banner on their float. To learn more call 939-8041
Home Tour Sunday, November 20 from 3:00-7:00 pm The tour includes homes of Allen and Sandy Kirk, Jeff and Sharon Koester, Zac and Jana Zipfel, the downtown apartment of Alan and Karla Mueth and Garden Place Senior Living. Be sure to buy your advanced tickets so you can be entered in the drawing for the limo ride that will take you on the tour. The winner will be notified on Saturday. Tickets are $10 for adults; $5 for students high school and younger. Ticket price includes Taste of Red Bud at The Opera House. Tickets can be purchased at North County Savings, First State Bank, First Bank, State Bank of Pr. du Rocher, North County News, Lau Nae Winery, IGA, Creative Concepts, Twyla's and Keils.
